FLYWHEEL ENERGY STORAGE
A flywheel is a mechanical rotating mass for storing energy. Flywheels built into electric machines are used to store energy as an alternative to batteries. High speed flywheels have a high power density, ultra long life (millions of cycles) and provide consistent power/energy over their life.
